Lowe-McConnell is a luxury terraced cottage set on the site of the Freshwater Biological Association, one mile from the village of Far Sawrey, close to Bowness-on-Windermere. This cottage sleeps two people and has a zip/link king-size double, a shower room and a open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with balcony. There's also off road parking for one car. Lowe-McConnell is a wonderful cottage for a Lake District getaway, with plenty to see and do in this superb area. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

"We stayed here over New Year. It is a beautiful property. Everything in it is of a really high quality. The bed was really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was warm and cosy which was great to come back to after doing many of the walks right on your doorstep. Very relaxing to watch the moored boats floating outside the living room window or from the bedroom window. The bathroom was very stylish. We loved it here and would highly recommend it. "
