Rampsbeck Lodge is set in a beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Ullswater, in the village of Watermillock. Outside is two-acres of private grounds which follow down to the lake, as well as off-road parking for several cars. Rampsbeck Lodge is a fine retreat for a couple, any time of year. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

The village of Watermillock runs next to Ullswater Lake and is 2.5 miles from Pooley Bridge in the Lake District, it provides a popular pub serving food. Pooley Bridge has an array of amenities including traditional inns and tea rooms. The Ullswater Steamers depart from the village. "A long deserved break and we found this lovely place. A apartment next to owners. Parking and lovely gardens and near to lake. A dog friendly place in apartment. Just not allowed on sofa. We found that was fine. The dog chucky loved the place and huge area private to run around. Even able to get near the lake water. Beautiful view of lake avery nice place. The apartment on 1 level, open style kitchen large living area with huge sofa. Basics provided in kitchen including microwave, full oven and hob and fridge . Tv and hoover. So everything there needed. Lodge near to a restaurant easy to walk to. Overall a lovely experience and Patricia was a lovely person who helped well with any queries. I would love to go back one day. All around the area dog friendly and alot of places to visit. The only unusual thing was bath area part of bedroom. But was lovely all in pink. "
