Holmbush can be found within close reach of the popular Cornish town of St Austell, with easy access to the coast and many of Cornwall's most famous attractions including the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The village is home to several shops and eateries, alongside a Post Office, parks and gardens to roam and plenty of scenery to observe. With easy access to Fowey, Truro and Bodmin, Holmbush is perfectly positioned for exploring Cornwall.

"Loved our stay in The Old Smokehouse! Beautifully decorated throughout with a homely feel. Open plan downstairs still felt cosy in the evenings, and the upstairs had two good sized bedrooms with good quality bedding. For us the location was great. The harbour, small beach, selection of bars / eateries, a deli and a couple of coastal walks were all literally on the doorstep, so we could forget about the car most of the time. Even enjoyed some early spring sunshine with our mid-morning coffee on the patio. There were a selection of supermarkets 5 mins drive away in St Austell, so we made use of the well equipped kitchen and ate in on a couple of nights too. All in all we had a very relaxing week and hope to return again."
