There is also a shower room, kitchen and a living/dining room with electric fire. Outside is off-road parking for one car and a rear enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. Raygill Cottage provides lovely accommodation to return to at the end of each day. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off-road parking for 1 car. Rear enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile. Pub 0.4 miles. Whitby 2.5 miles. Note: There are 3 steps up to the bedrooms. Please note: the cottage sits by a B road running through Sneaton village; traffic noise may be heard from the front of the cottage during busy times but the bedrooms are at the back.

The rural village of Sneaton lies close to Whitby, and within driving distance of Scarborough, in North Yorkshire. There are some wonderful walks in the area, including the notable Monks Trod, which leads down to Whitby. This fishing port has cobbled streets and alleys, beaches, restaurants and an array of cafes as well as its 199 steps to the abbey.

"Stayed one week in March and we were fortunate to get good weather, which only added to this lovely time spent at this cottage, which is ideally situated for not only Whitby but many isolated Bays along the coastline, plus Sandsend beach fantastic location for our dog Jac.The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities needed to add to your stay. Plus a pub within walking distance for a decent meal at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and will book again."
