This 19th century cottage is situated in Bampton, Oxfordshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two en suite bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king size double ('zip/link' can be twin on request), 1 x first floor king size double.Ground floor bathroom with bath, handheld shower, basin and WC. First floor master bathroom with walk in shower room, double sink, vanity unit and WC. Kitchen with breakfast room. Living room with dining area and woodburner. Utility room/cloakroom with WC and basin. NOTE: This property does not accept children.
Sunnyside Cottage is a 19th century cottage situated in Bampton, Oxfordshire. The property is located in the same village the famous TV drama Downton Abbey was filmed. It has been carefully renovated into a modern country cottage, with features such as Hypnos beds and designer furniture, however the property still retains its period charms with its exposed beams and wood burning stove. The property has an open-plan living room with an open fire and dining room, as well as a fitted kitchen with a separate breakfast located in the conservatory. There is one ground floor king-size bedroom and one first floor king-size bedroom with two separate bath and shower rooms and WC. Outside is a classic cottage garden courtyard, perfectly manicured with a table and chairs provided. Off road parking is available. Sunnyside Cottage is perfect for two couples. No children or Pets allowed. Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

TV with cable/Digibox, digital radio with Bluetooth, WIFI, selection of books and games. Garden and rear courtyard with table and chairs. Off road parking. Washing machine with separate dryer. Shop and pub 0.5 miles. Please be aware as this is a traditional cottage, the ceiling in the living room is quite low for people over 6ft. No Pets and No Children

The thriving village of Bampton lies in the Thames Valley in the southern Cotswolds, amidst beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Bampton is one of the oldest villages in England boasting a village shop, Post Office, butcher, and traditional pubs serving good food and real ales, all set around a pretty market square. Ancient customs can still be experienced with the regular morris dancing festivities, which have been enjoyed for over 600 years. Just four miles away is the riverside town of Witney, which offers many attractions including a weekly market dating back to the Middle Ages, an 18th century town hall, and Wychwood Brewery.
