Shrewsbury is a fascinating market town north of the Shropshire Hills AONB. It hosts over 600 listed buildings, its main streets boast black and white timber-framed buildings offering a wide range of quality amenities. "Fabulous house, very welcoming, clean and fully equipped with lots of extras, which for me was a big bonus - extra hand towels in bathrooms, hand soap, dishwasher tabs etc. The owners have thought of everything! Nice welcome pack on arrival too. The house is apx 1 mile from Shrewsbury centre with a small shop and very good Indian takeaway a 5 minute walk away. A good base to explore the county of Shropshire with lots of things to do and see and lots of restaurants in Shrewsbury to eat out. Would definitely recommend."
