Yetminister village was built almost entirely of honey coloured limestone. This comes partly from the age of its houses - many of which date back to the 17th century - but also from its lack of major through traffic.

"We had friends arriving from the USA for a party and booked them in to Bear Cottage. It was very comfortable, clean and welcoming and was a perfect place for them to be based to visit other places in the area."
"Lovely lovely welcome with milk tea sugar great Dorset Apple cake and vegetables were given to us from their garden. Also some dog biscuits for our beloved pet. Lovely big clean and bright converted barn. Very well equipped, Lovely and quiet and convenient place to visit Weymouth, Lime Regis and cheddar Gorge to name but a few. Lovely little village. Very friendly. Good garden area and great doggy wash station. Great comfy king-size beds games and puzzles provided along with tv.and wifi. Also hair dryer supplied. There was three of us adults and one little dog and we had great weather and great weeks holiday. owners are very friendly and helpful."
"We have just spent a week here with family and our two dogs, Cal and Gill made us very welcome and were always on hand if we needed anything. Their cottage is stunning and was in the perfect location for us, it is very peaceful there and just a few minutes walk to the village pub (which was great) and local Spar which stocks a lot of essentials. Sherbourne and Yeovil were about 10 minutes away in the car. Couldn't recommend it enough."
