Shop and pub 7 mins walk.

"The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable for two people. Being a single-storey building with a gravelled, fenced garden, it is ideal for a dog. The central location of the cottage makes it convenient for visiting most locations in SW Scotland by car, and even Glasgow is only 1.5 hours away. There are shops and supermarkets within 30 mins drive (Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright or Newton Stewart) and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for home cooking (including a dishwasher)."
