The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Private parking available for 1 car at the rear of the property, access to property via a coded gate from this space. Additional parking also available behind the property on a first come first served basis. Enclosed rear patio. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Due to the location of the property, television signal may be limited at times

Loftus lies 14 miles north of Whitby on the east coast of Yorkshire. It was a mining village, it has terraced houses, old stone cottages and grand stone dwellings. The main street hosts shops, eateries, pubs, banks and a town hall. Lying behind the main street is a leisure centre with a swimming pool. Loftus is placed well for discovering Runswick Bay and Staithes, the latter being a popular choice for artists. Four miles to the north is Saltburn with its golf club and long pier stretching over the wide sands. The stunning North Yorkshire Moors countryside is on the doorstep and the Jurassic fossil coast lies to the south.

"Arriving at the apartment , it was spotlessly Clean , just right for a base to get around the area of Saltburn on Sea. And I could take my dog, there was a courtyard , so we could let him outside. Unfortunately the lower part of Loftus has a lot of shops shut down , the upper area where the apartment is located is ok . The parking area is shared by people visiting the Co Op, but we always got parked . You cannot hear or see the Co Op after you enter the property area . Very secure ,2 entry codes to use . "
