This lovely Grade II listed, stone-built terraced cottage is situated in the village of Dinas Mawddwy and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x second floor twin. Bathroom with double-ended bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburning stove.
Siskin is a delightful Grade II listed, stone-built terrace cottage set in the village of Dinas Mawddwy, ten miles from Dolgellau. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one second floor twin, together with a bathroom with double-ended bath. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there's roadside parking and an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture and a covered veranda and patio. Siskin is a charming Snowdonia base. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Electric storage heaters with woodburning stove. Electric oven and solid plate hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking outside property. Bike storage. Enclosed rear courtyard with furniture and covered veranda and patio. One well-behaved dog welcome (downstairs only, please bring own dog bed, blankets and towels). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Due to the access and narrow spiral staircase to the twin bedroom, the property is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years or for those with limited mobility. Note: Twin bedroom has sloping ceilings and restricted head height. Note: One external step down to the front door. Note: WIFI is provided from neighbouring property and may be limited.

Dinas Mawddwy is an attractive, single-street village surrounded by beautiful countryside and overlooked by the wonderful Aran Mountains, in the southern part of Snowdonia National Park. There is a pub in the village and a number of others close by and the Meirion Woollen Mill stands on the banks of the River Dovey and is open to visitors.

"My family and I stayed here August 11th - 13th for a short break and found this to be a perfect little retreat! It is centrally located for accessing the local mountains and numerous walks in the area as well as being handy for getting to the nearby coast. We were really pleasantly suprised to find that the cottage is exactly as described and that the other positive reviews are truly justified! The owners have thought of pretty much everything that you will need for a comfortable hassle free stay and we were very impressed with the attention to detail and with how extremely clean the cottage was, despite allowing pets! Having being without a dog for a while we now have a new pup and we are really looking forward to staying again and taking her on some of the fantastic local walks when she's a bit more mature! Thanks to Susie and her partner for a really lovely relaxing short break, see you again soon!"
