This all ground floor cottage is just outside the village of Woolhope in Herefordshire and sleeps two people in one bedroom. All ground floor. One family bedroom with 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with double sofa bed.
The Carthouse is set all on the ground floor near the village of Woolhope. The cottage sleeps three people in one family bedroom which has a double and a single bed. There is also a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a double sofa bed. Outside there is ample off road parking and an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and a charcoal barbecue. The Carthouse is a charming, cosy cottage set in peaceful surroundings providing an ideal base for touring the local beauty spots. Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and charcoal BBQ. Ample off road parking. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 11 mins walk. Note: There is a fenced pond in the grounds.

Just 7 miles from Hereford, the picturesque village of Woolhope lies in unspoilt countryside and boasts two traditional village pubs, both serving excellent local food and real ale. Woolhope is close to the Wye Valley Walk, a 136-mile trail following the border between England and Wales, as well as The Hereforshire Trail and Three Choirs Way. Close by, Haugh Woods offer 850 acres of ancient forest boasting many rare species of moth and butterfly and numerous lovely walks through an unspoilt area of Herefordshire.

"Lovely rural cottage a converted cart house with excellent facilities has everything you would need and is pet friendly, This was our third visit to this cottage and has never been a disappointment, beautiful views over the countryside, with two pubs a short ride away who serve lovely food. There is a forestry commission forest a two mile drive away where there is some lovely walks."
"Peace and quiet in an idyllic setting. Cottage is well looked after with a welcome pack of essentials when you arrive including homemade scones with jam and cream left by the home owner. Loved the walks in the area and the Malvern hills, wye valley, Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons within an hours drive or less. I would definitely recommend."
