Outside is off road parking for one car, a private garden and shared use of yet more gardens and a dog-walking field. Woodpecker Cottage makes a lovely romantic base for couples to enjoy the wonderful Devon coastline. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Secure bike storage in exterior barn. Private enclosed garden with furniture, use of shared gardens and dog exercise field. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Adults only, no children including infants. Note: This property is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and not left alone in the cottage. Note: Check-in at this property is 4pm.

Bradworthy is a large Devon village with a selection of shops and a pub, surrounded by wonderful Devon countryside. Close to Bradworthy are the Tamar lakes for fishing and watersports, the beaches of Bude for family fun or surfing, and the South West Coastal Path for taking in the wonderful scenery and fresh sea air.

"We stayed with our dog at the beginning of august and had a great time. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and we would recommend it to anyone who wants top quality dog friendly accommodation. We were met by Lesley who was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home straightaway. Woodpecker Cottage has a small, private garden which was excellent as it meant we could let our dog out and not worry about her. There is also an excellent dog walking field. The cottage was very well equipped and everything was so clean. We felt that the position was good as we were not far from Bude and were able to get out and about quite easily. We ate in the pub in the evening in Bradworthy (Bradworthy Inn) and can thoroughly recommend this as we were able to take our dog with us. It is advisable to book beforehand if you are intending to take your dog with you as they are allowed in the bar area and the pub is very popular. We had an excellent holiday and would thoroughly recommend the accommodation for dog owners and non-dog owners alike. Lesley showed us around the new cottage which they have just completed and it was really lovely."
