Torcross is a village at the southern end of Slapton Sands, in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A historical site of interest for visitors, this area of coastline is a site where the Normandy landings were practiced. Slapton Sands is a 1.2 mile-long stretch of shingle beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. This area is fantastic for nature lovers, with Slapton Ley Nature Reserve adjacent to the beach. The towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are both within driving distance, offering boutique shops, galleries and restaurants.

"First time here if anyone is looking for an apartment next to the sea listening to the waves rolling into the sands then you will do no better than here. It's lovely. Amanda and Andy have forgotten nothing this place is so equipped no need to bring anything. . Welcome packs for us and our lovely dog Bandit. Even though the weather was rather wet it didn't stop our enjoyment of exploring. Thank u xxx"
