Herbusta View is a charming, detached cottage set in the hamlet of Kilmuir, near Uig. With two bedrooms, one king-size double and one twin, this cottage can sleep four people. The cottage also includes a ground floor shower room, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for one car (plus further roadside parking opposite the cottage in a lay-by), along with a front lawned garden with furniture. Herbusta View offers friends and families a splendid holiday base, with wonderful views across the sea to the Outer Hebrides. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

AGA cooker, microwave oven, 2 ring induction hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV with Sky Movies, DVD player, WiFi, telephone (incoming and emergency calls only), selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power included. Bed linen and towels provided. Highchair, stairgate and cot. Off road parking for 1 car with additional parking in large lay-by opposite. Front lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 miles. Coast 1 mile. Max 4 adults. Note: Access to the property is via a set of external steps; therefore the property is unsuitable for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility

The village of Uig (pronounced 'oo-ig'), at the northern tip of Skye, rests on the shores of Loch Shnizort, Skye's largest sea loch off the Atlantic. The village boasts 2 pubs, 2 shops and a hotel, as well as two other businesses well worth a visit.
