Roadside parking available Mon- Fri, as well as free parking in public car park 'Peak Hotel' 3 mins walk (2 spaces). Enclosed garden at rear with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: No children under 5 years. Note: Check in time is 4pm and check out is 11am.

The Peak District village of Castleton is situated at the top of the Hope Valley. Steeped in history, the village boasts the Norman Peverill Castle Keep which is in a commanding position keeping an eye on the village and the National Park. It has an array of gift shops, food pubs and a Visitor Centre. Nearby are the villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Hope and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water.

"Received a very warm welcome from the owner. Cottage is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated throughout with some fabulous finishing touches. The house has central heating and there is also a log burner to keep you warm on cold nights. All amenities close by and situated very near to the centre of Castleton. Ideal for a break or a walking holiday. Thoroughly recommended."
