Gas central heating with woodburning stoves. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stoves inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. The owners have provided a visitor's permit for roadside parking outside the cottage. Enclosed courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs less than 1 min walk. Note: Stone staircase from ground floor to first floor is a little worn and fairly steep so caution required. Note: Cottage can be accessed from High Street into sitting room, or courtyard/parking area into kitchen. Note: Stairs open directly into bedroom. Note: This property has steep, narrow stairs with a handrail on one wall, the other side is open, which means they may be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.

Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Worth Valley Railway. Visit Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
