Allensdown Barn is a beautiful, detached dwelling located next to 200-acre woodland in the owner's grounds, just outside the Mid Devon village of Sampford Peverell. It plays host to three bedrooms; two family rooms with a double and single bed followed by a ground floor 4' double with en-suite shower room, sleeping seven altogether. There is also a bathroom, kitchen/diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. To the exterior is off-road parking, a private lawned garden and access to a shared summer house, playing field, swimming pool and woodland. Allensdown Barn offers a refreshing holiday in a delightful part of England. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Enclosed garden at rear with lawn and access to shared solar-heated swimming pool (May-Sept), games room and 200-acre woodland. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 1.5 miles, shop 3 miles. One well behaved dog welcome. Note: This property doesn't have access to the hot tub next to the swimming pool.

Sampford Peverell rests in Mid Devon and plays host to a village hall, couple of pubs, shop and some sports facilities including a multi-use games area. You also have walking and cycling opportunities along the Grand Western Canal. Tiverton is home a castle and horse-drawn barge trips along the canal as well as three medieval almshouses, and the parish church of St. Peter. . The National Trust's Knightshayes is worth a visit, while you also have Blackdowns Hills AONB, the city of Exeter and Dartmoor National Park within reach.
