Market Rasen is a town and civil parish within the West Londsey district of Lincolnshire. The River Rase runs through it and it is best known for Market Rasen Racecourse. Market days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On each Tuesday there is an auction of goods and produce, and on the first Tuesday of every month, a farmers' market. Every Friday the Women's Institute holds a country market.

"Set within walking distance of Market Rasen Main Street with its pubs and restaurants. This lovely property is set in beautiful gardens on a country lane. The house is super comfy. Thick pile carpet underfoot, large cosy sofa and a wonderful large comfortable bed. The living rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make it a home from home. The owners, George and Gemma are kind and helpful. The amazing Lemon Drizzle cake was a delicious welcome. Everything on hand to make a nice cuppa on arrival. Lincoln is a 20 minute car journey and offers so much in the way of attractions. Louth is also a short drive and offers lots of individual shops. Nearby Forest walks in Rasen are a must. Will definitely return to Hare Cottage."
"We have just ended a weeks stay in this lovely cottage. The owners Gemma and George could not have been more helpful. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for. This is a new venture for Gemma and George and we are sure it will be a huge success. We had a lovely welcome pack which included milk, bread and a wonderful home cooked currant loaf. Thank you so much for a lovely week. When we visit this area again we will definitely stay here.
