Coasy and quirky seaside property that has been built into the cliff in Torcross, just yards from Slapton Sands, and accommodates four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x double 1 x twin (can be linked on request to create a King-size double) with ensuite cloakroom with w.c., basin and heated towel rail. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. Shower room with large shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, W.C. and heated towel rail. Outside area with table and chairs.
Boathouse Cottage is a cosy and quirky seaside property built into the cliff, just yards from the beach at one end of Slapton Sands (a 3-mile stretch of golden coastline), in the historic village of Torcross. The property has two bedrooms (one double on ground floor, one twin on first floor which can be made up as a King-size bed if required), plus one family ground floor shower room. There is also a fabulous open plan living area with a lovely picture window boasting stunning views out to sea. At the very front of the cottage is a small area for table and chairs, plus limited free parking bays nearby. With the beach just yards away, this is fabulous accommodation for those looking for a seaside getaway. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Facilities & Amenities
Four-ring gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. A washing machine and freezer is housed in an area under the stairs. TV (with Freesat), CD/DVD player and iPod dock. No wifi available. No parking at the property however loading and unloading is permitted outside the cottage and there are also limited open/free bays outside the adjacent development ('At The Beach'). All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are supplied. Travel cot available.

Torcross is a village at the southern end of Slapton Sands, in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A historical site of interest for visitors, this area of coastline is a site where the Normandy landings were practiced. Slapton Sands is a 1.2 mile-long stretch of shingle beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. This area is fantastic for nature lovers, with Slapton Ley Nature Reserve adjacent to the beach. The towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are both within driving distance, offering boutique shops, galleries and restaurants.
