The small village of Calstock stands on the River Tamar close to the Devon border and is dominated by the Calstock Viaduct. The village houses an arts centre attracting musicians and artists from around Cornwall, as well as a selection of pubs and shops. A mile away is the medieval National Trust house with glorious gardens, as well as Morwellham Quay which is another important river port.
