Deganwy sits on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary. It has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this stretch of the North Wales Coast. You also have Llandudno and Conwy nearby.
