To the outside is off-road parking for 1 car, plus roadside parking and an enclosed courtyard to the rear with furniture. Serendipity Cottage is a refreshing stay in a lovely part of Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Shops/pubs/wine bar/restaurants 6 minutes walk. Beach 10 minutes walk. Fresh fish available to purchase from the beach 7 days a week. Fishing trips and boat hire available during peak season.

Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a childrens' play area.
