Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire is a historic village which dates back to Neolithic times with over 100 buildings being Grade II listed or higher. This ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly farmers' market. The vast market square boasts an ancient cross at one end and the village stocks at the other, surrounded by an elegant array of Cotswold stone townhouses, antiques shops, tea rooms, traditional pubs, award-winning restaurants and its very own cricket museum.

Bow House Cottage is a gem of a place, perfect for a romantic break, peaceful and yet very convenient for all the local attractions. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more, beautifully presented and very, very clean. Loved it, loved it! "
"What can we say we had a fantastic few days in this amazing cottage Vicky the host was a breath of fresh air,we have to say its this best cottage we have stayed in and we have stayed in a few we wanted for nothing well equipped with lots of lovely extra's to welcome us cakes,flowers and a bowl fruit also hot choc for when it is cold, the cottage was spotless and so cosy the bed was fab which often not the case in other places we have stayed. This was our first time in the Cotswolds what a beautiful place not sure why we have not been before.I would give this cottage 10 stars if it was possible. Amazing cottage amazing host and amazing location even though it rained .only down side we had to go home but will be back.Thank you Vicky for a wonderful welcome."
