To the exterior are 6-acre grounds with access to tennis courts, pond and a patio area with furniture as well as ample off-road parking. Pheasant is a delightful retreat in a wonderful location. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Lockton is just 5 miles from Pickering, the charming market town which marks the official gateway to the North York Moors National Park. Attractions include the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, The Beck Isle Museum with its unique collection of black and white photography, and of course the outstanding North York Moors with rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife. Located just a mile outside of Dalby Forest, on the southern slopes of the National Park, this quaint little village is the perfect, rural base for your holiday.
