Situated on the east coast is the seaside town of Hornsea. The Victorian resort plays host to a sandy beach and a promenade with well-kept gardens. The town centre houses a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes. Close by is Hornsea Mere which offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Alternatively, Wassand Hall and walled gardens is close by, providing a delightful leisurely stroll.

"We had a week at this lovely house in May 2019. Upon arrival we discovered amazing home made cakes and welcome pack. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house itself is very well maintained and has all the things that you could think that you would need. We got really lucky with the weather and enjoyed walks along the beach and a day trip to Whitby. Would happily stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone looking to explore this part of the country."
