Off-road parking for 1 car as well as public car park near the property. Juliet balcony. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note - Please be advised that this property will not accept worker bookings.

Offering the remains of an historic castle, parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking in the countryside.

"Beautifully presented and dressed cottage. Everything you could possibly need is here and the charming owner is very helpful. Immaculately clean and lovely bedding. I can't speak highly enough of the property however I must point out a couple of downsides. The garage is a nightmare for modern cars. Small entry and difficult to manoeuvre into it. There is a lot of parking very nearby however and there is nothing can be done about it. The other problem is the heat coming in the beautiful windows in the living room. This could be easily solved with blackout blinds which I'm sure the owner will take on board. I would recommend this property."
