Pond Cottage is a lovely stone barn conversion in the village of Rosedale Abbey near Kirbymoorside in Yorkshire. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a double and a twin as well as a separate bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a separate cloakroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside is ample off-road parking and an enclosed gravelled courtyard to rear with furniture. Set in a great location, Pond Cottage can be enjoyed at any time of the year. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Situated in the heart of the North York Moors National Park and handily placed for touring both the Moors and the Coast, the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey is set within Rosedale, a beautiful valley of sweeping hillsides and breathtaking views. Rosedale is surrounded by wonderful moorland countryside with footpaths and bridleways radiating out in every direction. Today, a stone pillar, staircase and sundial are all that is left of the 12th century Cistercian Priory that gave the village its unusual name. Charming stone built cottages cluster around the village green alongside the village shops, tea rooms, glass studio and three old country pubs/restaurants.
