A delightful award-winning market town on the River Tavy, nestling in the South West slopes of Dartmoor. Tavistock has an indoor pannier market, a diverse range of shops, an excellent choice of pubs, bistros, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema, as well as a leisure pool.

"The most peacefull setting with high quality accomodation. Great hosts,lots of wildlife to see we saw deer feeding out of kitchen sink window in the early evening. Tavistock very nice town nearby. One tip if your staying more than two nights you may want to take an iron as theres no where to hang clothes. Would deffo stay again as exellent value high quality fittings ,wood burner and fire pit great. Big thanks to Nick and Karen for a memorable little escape from the world."
"Myself and my partner stayed here on the weekend just gone, and omg what a beautiful place. It was truely amazing. It is away from all the hustle and bustle. On arrival Karen was waiting with the keys she was very welcoming and had alot of knowledge of the local area and recommendations. She instantly made us feel welcome. The hut is beautiful, well looked after and loved. You have a little camp fire and a little pond with a decking area. It is in the middle of the woods so the sound of wildlife is beautiful and just so calming. They even left us a small welcome pack which was so appreciated. The hut is well equipped and even has a few games etc so nice to sit and have a game of something we wouldn't do at home. This place was the perfect getaway and I would highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you Nick and Karen for the best weekend. "
