Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Secure storage for bikes. Lawned garden to the front and rear with decked area and seating. One well behaved dog welcome (not permitted in the bedrooms). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 3 minute walk. Note: There is an unfenced brook at the end of the garden, children must be supervised. For bookings from 26th September 2019, no stag, hen or similar parties allowed.

Penmaenpool is a delightful village set alongside the River Mawddach, which winds its way alongside the local town of Dolgellau to the sea between Fairbourne and Barmouth. The village is scattered along the Mawddach Estuary on the Mawddach Trail, against the backdrop of the foothills of Cadair Idris. Boasting a traditional pub alongside the historic toll bridge, a stay in this village is the perfect chance to walk the longer circular walk returning via the railway bridge at the mouth of the estuary. Visit Fairbourne or Barmouth for beaches and steam railways, explore the coastline of the Llyn Peninsula or Anglesey, or head into Snowdonia to tackle the mountains. An ideal base whatever the time of year.
