Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Permit parking. Shared courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: internal steps up to the entrance of apartment and steps between rooms. Note: Check out is 11am and check in is 4pm.

Barnard Castle is a market town in Teesdale, situated within countryside surroundings. The town is on the site of a Roman ford, which crosses the river, plus the medieval ruins of the castle and the cobble streets, yards, and back lanes are well worth seeing. From the town, there is excellent walking with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, River Tees and the waterfalls at High Force all nearby.

"Absolutely lush flat close to all the shops, cafes and pubs. Is right on the main street but is very quiet and peaceful. Apologies to the owners as we couldn't leave a review on the visitors book, we couldn't find a pen anywhere! but I really liked the detail of putting my dog's name on the water bowl and there was even some treats for him, plus our basket with some very tasty bread, etc. All perfect! thanks."
