Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, 2 x TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside permit parking, disc provided by owner. Small courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome ( 2 small dogs allowed on request). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

Whitby is situated at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this memorable part of Yorkshire, with its coastline and close proximity to the notable North York Moors. Whitby is an atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey.

"This is a Fishermans cottage located in a traditional Whitby yard which is acccessed via a ginnel. It is situated right in the centre of Whitby town and everywhere is within walking distance. There is parking on the street which is free until 10am and after 6pm, also the owner supplies four free parking tokens for use. At other times there is free parking up the side of the Coop and beyond , this is about a ten minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need. The kitchen has a sofa and tv! It is on four levels so not suitable for the infirm. It was a quiet location. We loved it and will return."
