The market town of Morpeth is situated centrally in Northumberland and is an ideal base from which to reach the coast or countryside. Offering a historic castle, parks, riverside walks, architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum. Morpeth is also ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west.

"We stayed here for 7 nights and had such a lovely visit. House is totally 5 star, furnished with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, first class bedding/towels plus well appointed lounge,kitchen and bathrooms, you will want for nothing. House was spotless and there is plenty of space inside and out for everyone to relax in. Plenty of hot water and house is warm and cosy. Owner kindly left us a lovely welcome basket. Not far from Warkworth Castle, Morpeth and Alnwick."
