On the same level is a neat kitchen with induction cooker, a dining room, a sitting room with open fire and a hall. Outside is an enclosed garden with terrace and lawn, beyond which is a wild meadow with paths to wander, leading to walks in the surrounding countryside. Hedgelea is a charming base for a peaceful break in Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Sorry no smoking. Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly.

The charming country town of North Tawton quietly rests amidst lush green fields, high hedgerows and winding lanes, just eight miles north of historic Okehampton. Nestling between the high, rugged tors of Dartmoor and the wide sandy beaches and rolling surf of the North Devon coast, this delightful town boasts picturesque thatched cottages and quaint pubs. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with many pretty little villages dotted throughout the area, and several excellent coarse fishing lakes and rivers, quality golf courses, and a number of National Trust properties within easy reach. There are few better spots from which to experience the joys of beautiful Devon.
