On the ground floor is a kitchen with small breakfast table, a dining room, a sitting room and a conservatory, with a games room on a half landing. Outside is a private garden with lawn and terrace with outdoor furniture and a gate to a seating area with picnic benches beside the towpath. Just 250 yards from a pub, Valley House is a comfortable place for a waterside break in Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
