"We would totally recommend this beautiful cottage. The owners are very friendly and accommodating; the cottage is very well appointed; and the views are absolutely outstanding! We came at the same time last year. Even if the weather isn't great, the cottage is so cosy and the autumn colours are still vibrant, that it's just as special staying indoors as it is going out. We stayed during the middle of November and amazingly there were still red roses adorning the cottage. There is plenty of room for two couples to stay without getting under each other's feet. We loved watching the sheep in the nearby field, the gaggle of hens in the garden and the multitude of birds outside the kitchen window. The lack of light pollution makes star gazing unbelievable. The narrow lanes take a bit of getting used to, but as there is so little traffic it doesn't take long to feel comfortable. There is easy access to many beautiful towns and villages including Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. We can't wait to return again next year!!!"

"This cottage was excellent and in a fabulous setting. It is definitely in our top 5 self-catering cottages and we would not hesitate to recommend it. The owners were charming and we loved their animals - a veritable menagerie! The views were amazing and we liked the village too, everyone you passed was friendly. The pub was a "good food" pub, we had 2 excellent meals there. We were lucky to have sunny (though cold) weather in April."
