One king-size double bedroom. Open-plan living area with sitting area, kitchen, dining area and glazed doors to terrace. First floor mezzanine with single day bed. Ground floor wet room with shower, basin and WC.
Grooms Cottage is a stylish, bright and airy cottage in the grounds of striking Grade II listed Talaton House.The cottage sleeps three people, two in a ground floor double bedroom and one in a single bed on a first floor mezzanine overlooking the living space. No children under the age of 12 due to the mezzanine. They share a wet/shower room. On the ground floor the living area is open plan with a sitting area, sleek kitchen and dining area with full height glazed doors overlooking open parkland. Outside you'll find a little seating area, attractive gravelled terrace, parking for two cars and you are of course welcome to use the extensive lawns and grounds. Grooms Cottage is a lovely house, ideal for a Devon holiday Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Off road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved small dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property. Note: This property does not accept children under 12 due to the mezzanine.

Ottery St Mary sits beside the River Otter and is well known for its literary connections to the poet Coleridge and for its beautiful church often referred to as a Exeter cathedral lookalike. Ottery St Mary is also famous for its traditional 'Tar Barrels' which attracts more than 3000 visitors on 5th November each year.

"Clean, light and airy this peaceful dog friendly cottage is amazing with such well thought out furniture and appliances. We wanted for nothing and could walk the dog from the front door either along the public footpaths or just down the private lane to the pub for an excellent meal. We will return for another outstanding holiday it is perfect."
