Elmfield is a handsome detached house in the peaceful Somerset village of Sampford Brett. The house sleeps thirteen people in six bedrooms over three storeys. On the ground floor are two sitting rooms, one with open fire, and a kitchen with dining area. Outside is a fenced garden at the front and a courtyard with barbecue and furniture at the back, as well as a games barn. Beyond is a lawn garden and paddock sometimes shared with the owners. With excellent walks and being close to Exmoor and the Quantock Hills, Elmfield is a fine house for a Somerset break. Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmer's market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request, Off road parking for five cars. Enclosed garden with barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property.

Watchet is a delightful, small Somerset harbour town with a maritime history going back over two millennia, where visitors may enjoy the variety of quaint shops on offer and watch the boats in the marina.

"We stayed here this weekend as a large family group getting together to celebrate a recent wedding held abroad. Lovely house, few wobbly doors and dodgy bits of plaster etc but it is over 300yrs old and just adds to the feel.. Sleeps 13, plenty of room for everyone, two huge lounges both with TV, huge kitchen with a rayburn and literally every appliance and utensil you could need. All the bedrooms were large and nicely decorated and furnished with lovely comfy beds. Plenty of parking, paddock at the rear with goats and a calf, which the kids adored visiting and feeding! Bit isolated, nothing in walking distance really, but means nobody to disturb or be disturbed by you, gets pitch black at night, no street lights, the night sky was amazing. The owner lives at the rear and was a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. Only five mins drive to Williton where there are shops n pubs, etc. Ten mins to Watchet, twenty mins to Minehead where there are big supermarkets etc. We all had a great weekend here and fully intend to come back here and all do it again in the future."
