Ceylon is a stylish semi-detached cottage on the edge of Dartmoor near the Devon village of Lydford. The cottage sleeps four people in two downstairs bedrooms, a double with an en suite shower room, and a twin, plus a family bathroom. On the top floor is an open plan living space with seating area, dining area and kitchen. Outside is a small enclosed lawn with picnic table and a signed route past lakes to the open moors. Two miles from Lydford with its pubs and shops, Ceylon is a brilliant cottage for a Devon holiday. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Nestling among mature woodland on the western slopes of Dartmoor, the historic village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards.
