There is a warm and inviting sitting room with lofty beamed ceiling, dining area and a well fitted kitchen. Outside, you have your own little patio with table and chairs you are welcome to roam the owner's mature gardens and meadows. Burham Barn is a serene place within half a mile of two pubs on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

The pretty village of Yelverton makes a perfect base for exploring Dartmoor with excellent walking and cycling routes in the area. The 21 mile-long cycling and walking route Drake's Trail, runs through the village and links nearby Tavistock and Plymouth passing through wooded valleys and open moorland.
