This handsome Victorian Devon house situated on the edge of the popular Dartmoor town of Chagford can sleep twelve people in five bedrooms. Over four floors. Four first floor bedrooms: 1 x emperor double with dressing room with single day bed and en suite bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC, basin, 1 x double with four poster bed, 1 x king size double with en suite bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC, basin, 1 x 2'6" twin (can convert to king size double). One top floor bedroom: family room with king size double and single bed and en suite bathroom with bath, shower over, WC, two basins. Ground floor hall. Living room. Sitting room with wood burning stove. Kitchen with breakfast table. Dining room. Office with wood burning stove. Sunroom. Ground floor WC with basin. Cellar with games room and utility room.
Beechlands is a big and handsome Victorian detached house on the edge of the Dartmoor town of Chagford. The house sleeps twelve people in five bedrooms: three double (two with en suite bathroom), one twin (can convert to double) with en suite shower room and a family room with double and single beds and en suite bathroom. On the ground floor are a kitchen, dining room, two sitting rooms, office and sunroom. In the cellar are a games room and utility room. Outside is a grassy garden with ponds and 26 acres to wander. Less than a mile from the centre of the popular town of Chagford, Beechlands is a wonderful place for friends or family to enjoy a Devon holiday. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for six cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
