Just 400 yards from the good food pub, Michaelmas Cottage is a picturesque place for a relaxing Devon break or family holiday. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Drewsteignton sits high above the River Teign as it meanders through a spectacular steep wooded Teign Gorge. It is a chocolate box village with a cluster of ancient cob and thatched cottages surrounding a square, complete with shop, ancient church, restaurant and very pretty pub.

"The photo's and description don't really do this cottage justice. It is a lovely spacious country thatched cottage. The garden is lovely and secure, good for dogs and a sun trap for sunbathing on the supplied sun loungers (only two though, so fought over in our group!). Inside the cottage is well equipped including nice little touches like washing liquids/dishwasher tablets etc. The area it is set in is lovely with enough to occupy an active family for weeks."
