This big peaceful house is situated 3 miles from Chagford and can sleep ten people in four bedrooms. Over two floors. Two upstairs bedrooms: 1 x king size double with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin, 1 x room with three single beds and en suite WC with basin. Two downstairs bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, hand-shower, separate shower, WC and basin. Hall. Living/dining room with wood burning stove. Kitchen with small breakfast table. Drying room. Laundry room outside.
Rockmead is a spacious detached house in an historic peaceful Dartmoor hamlet three miles from the friendly town of Chagford. The house sleeps ten people in two double bedrooms, a twin and a room with three single beds. On the ground floor is a living/dining room with wood burning stove, a kitchen and a hall. Outside is a big lawn garden with barbecue, furniture and play equipment for small children, plus parking for four cars. Three miles from the friendly town of Chagford, Rockmead is a lovely place for walking, relaxing and exploring Dartmoor. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Enclosed garden with childrens play area and barbecue. Note: Check-in time 6pm. Note: No fireworks permitted due to livestock.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
