Dearham is in Allerdale, less than two miles from Maryport on the western fringes of the Lake District National Park. It has four pubs, a Post Office/shop, a fish and chip shop and a renowned pie shop. The countryside offers views of the Loweswater Valley and beyond. The Solway Firth is within a short drive. Maryport and Cockermouth are both easily reachable and provide plenty to see and do for visitors of all tastes.
