Shrewsbury is a historic town in Shropshire, famed for its black-and-white buildings, castle and abbey. The town offers a very good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, along with museums, galleries and the lovely new Theatre Severn. The River Severn is a focal point of the town, offering pleasant riverside walks and pleasure boat trips.
