"We spend a week at this wonderful cottage on the hills bordering the River Wye with our two young boys (aged 2 and 6). The cottage was very well presented and had everything we needed as a base for our week away. The communal gardens outside the cottage were beautifully maintained which was ideal for family picnics and the boys also had plenty of space to run around and play; during the week we stayed we pretty much had this space to ourselves. The cottage also had a private courtyard garden with BBQ which we found ideal for enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings. The cottage is in a great location for walks through the forest and along the river, followed by a quick stop-off at the pub before catching the hand boat back across the river back to the cottage. The only point to mention was the narrow road leading to the cottage, however once we had been out a few times it became second nature and was not really a problem (we drive a family sized estate), on the rare occasion we saw a car approaching from the other direction there was always enough visibility to find a place to pull over without having to reverse. A beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the country."
