Fabulous traditional pet friendly Lakeland cottage with wi-fi and garden located in the village of Coniston in the Lake District National Park, sleeping four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 double with washbasin, 1 twin, ground floor family bathroom with bathtub and shower over, wash basin and WC. Open plan living/dining and cooking area with fully equipped kitchen and separate utility room.
Fellside Cottage is a lovely semi-detached character property located on a traditional 300-acre working farm in the fells. Matching cosy cottage charm with modern convenience, Fellside Cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms comprising of one double and one twin bedroom which share the ground floor family bathroom. The accommodation is open plan, yet retains lovely character features like original beams throughout. There's a lovely courtyard where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views, and off road parking for twocars. Fellside Cottage is the perfect holiday home for a couple or family who want to get back to nature. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Electric storage heaters plus electric wood burner style stove. Electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV, DVD, WiFi. Electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels provided. Cot, highchair and stairgate available (small charge). Off road parking for 2 cars. Courtyard with bench seating, secure storage for bikes. Up to 1 dog welcome (small charge). Sorry, no smoking. Countryside walks.

The bustling village of Coniston can be found at the northern end of Coniston Water, famous for its association with Sir Donald Campbell and Bluebird, and is overlooked by the Old Man of Coniston, the seventh highest mountain in England. The village is in a wonderful setting and is a popular destination for hill walking and rock climbing with fine walks nearby on the Furness Fells and Grizedale Forest. In 1997 Coniston was the first village to be given the title "Village of the Year" and has repeatedly been highly placed in the prestigious award. Coniston is very much a Lakeland village and has a range of shops, pubs and places to eat.
