This lovely farmhouse is converted and has modern amenities and a wood burning stove, located in the village of Newby Bridge a short drive from Windermere in the Lake District National Park and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms. Four bedrooms: 1x king size double, 1x double, 2 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC, and basin. Kitchen with breakfast bar. Dining room. Sitting room with wood-burning stove. Utility with washing machine and fridge.
This converted farmhouse offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight people across two floors. Situated within a short drive of Lake Windemere and walking distance of an excellent local pub, visitors will be able to take advantage of the outdoor pursuits and activities for which the Lake District has become renowned. Inside the cottage, you'll find all the modern facilities you would expect and extra touches such as a wood burning stove. Parking is available at Town End Farmhouse. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub and shop within 2 miles. The pub is connected to the Swan Hotel, there is also the bar in the Newby Bridge Hotel. Small supermarket located within the local petrol station at Newby Bridge.

The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge.
