Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Ample private parking. Shared use of gardens with summerhouse, picnic table, BBQ, river and pond. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: Due to river and pond, children need to be supervised at all times.

Troutbeck 5.2 miles. This welcoming stone-built farmhouse dates back to 1860 and overlooks the River Caldew, situated a four minute walk from the hamlet of Mosedale and just over five miles from the village of Troutbeck. Set around a courtyard, this cottage is the perfect base for peace and tranquillity, with plenty of places to visit nearby, including Windermere and Keswick. From the sitting room you can admire views across the garden towards Bowscale Fells and this room also has a warming gas stove. There's also separate kitchen and dining area, along with use of an external utility, and there's two bedrooms available including one with an en-suite. Completing the property is a bathroom, and this cottage has access to four acres of paddocks and gardens with summerhouse, picnic table and BBQ. From the hamlet of Mosedale is Carrock Fell, from where you can walk over the Back o Skiddaw. Close by are lots of places to visit, including Keswick and Lake Ullswater, Penrith, Hadrian's Wall, the Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales.
