Oil and electric included. Ben linen and towels included. Cot and highchair available on request. Plenty of off-road parking available. BBQ with charcoal supplied. Pets allowed (total of two), sorry, no smoking. Owner has two fishing permits. Shop 2.5 miles, Pub 2.5 miles. Notes: Max 11 adults.

A farmhouse that has been renovated for holidaymakers, it is 3 miles from the town of Alston and just a 5 minute walk away from the historical Epiacum Roman Fort.

"Wow...what a amazing place. Lovely and inviting. Enough space for all. We spent most of our time in kitchen/dining room all together and the kids in the living room. We came in March and although the weather wasn't great it was a good place to be as we were all together, we liked having a table that sat all 9 of us...we usually have to feed kids then the adults. Lovely village nearby. Bedrooms were a good size and we had the choice of 3 bathrooms, so no queuing for the shower. I liked the separation of utility area to the rest of the house...wet dogs had somewhere to dry off and a place for dirty shoes. I wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back for longer and hopefully better weather. My brother spoke with farmer/owner who was very friendly and chatty."
"Lovely welcoming house the owner really looked after us. The views were lovely very quiet and peaceful. Only 2 miles from alston which is within walking distance. Will definitely be coming back."
