"Lovely to arrive at a property and find it to be light, airy and clean. All the rooms were lovely and spacious and the property was located in such a peaceful area. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed having breakfast on the bedroom patio and a drink in the evening on the lounge patio, while admiring the view of Lake Windermere. The only drawback that might affect some people would be the location as the property is located up quite a steep hill - ok if travelling by car but if walking, this would not suit everybody."

"This apartment is stunning and relaxing with nice views from all windows. It has 2 balconies where you may eat or have a drink al fresco while enjoying the spectacular views. It was clean and everything was found in good order. We did have a mishap during our stay but both the owner and Cottage Holidays Ltd. (from where we booked this property) handled this as best as they can.The apartment is child-friendly with plenty of space where the children can play but it is located on a long steep hill, so a car is recommended."

"Close to the resort of Bowness. However, it was a walk down a steep hill and back up again which didn't bother us, but might if disabled or had children in pushchairs. The flat was very clean and had a balcony to the living room and the master bedroom. There was a bath and a power shower with plenty of hot water and central heating. A real home from home which i would recommend to anyone."

"The apartment was very clean. It was comfortable. The view from the apartment was amazing overlooking the Windermere Lake and the otherside a bushland with a small creek. The location was convenient for shopping and the walking distance to the Windermere pier. There were two toilets which was great and the kitchen has all necessary utensils. There were good books to read about the Lakes. We all enjoy the comfortable stay at the nice location."

"The apartment was great, very modern (looking as if it has recently been refurbished), central heating with radiators in every room including the coat cupboard! The kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a small freezer which is useful. Both bedrooms have double beds and flat screen Tv's and built in wardrobes. Bowness town is a short 10 minute walk away, with lots of nice places to eat, drink and shop! Didn't realise there was parking around the back until our third day, but there is. Would highly recommend, and would go back again."

"The apartment was spacious, well equiped, clean and well maintained, with a very pleasing decor. The location was good, being close to shops and having a view to the lake. The heating and shower were great and it was good to have 2 toilets. The key box arrangement worked well, meaning we didn't need to meet up with anyone to let us in to the apartment."

"The information sent prior to our visit was clear and simple and told us all we needed to know for our visit. The layout was perfect, clean and well equiped. 2 double bedrooms a bathroom containing bath and shower facilities, a kitchen and living room with excellent views looking over Windermere. The accomodation is located a short distance up a steep hill but close to the centre of bowness, with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops to meet most needs. I can only speak highly of our accomodation, it was perfect in every way."

"The house was very clean, nicely furnished. They also leave playing cards, books & board games in main room, I found that very thoughtful. Definately recommend everyone to go for it.."

"We couldn't fault this accommodation. The flat is spacious, very nice kitchen/diner, absolutely fantastic leather sofas, the spare toilet/bathroom was spot on (no queues). Fully equipped kitchen, responsive central heating for those colder days, spacious garage for one car and a space for another one. Nice view from the balcony. No garden though so don't take badminton with you ;) Short stroll down the hill to the lovely angel Inn and a few more steps to the great Hall in 't Wall. If we liked going back to the same place twice we'd definitely book this flat again. No doubt."
